Rachel is amazing with our son and has made this whole experience amazing. First of all she travels to my sons school and meets with him there, which as a mom of 2 is so helpful and makes appointments possible. My son loves her and made so much progress in a short amount of time. What is really helpful in addition, is the guidance she provides us as parents to support him with his sensory needs. She also is intuitive and can identify other areas to support in, we really recommend Rachel. We did not want to wait for the process of the DOE to pay for services for our son and it has been worth every cent.

I have two sons. The older one has a very keen sense of observation and doesn't get himself in dangerous situations. The younger one was a lot more excited to try new things without regard to safety. I brought him to Rachel with this observation and after a few sessions she miraculously turned my 3 year old into a keen observer of his environment. I am now a lot more at ease when it comes to crossing the road, navigating parking lots because i know he's finally paying attention. Thank you Rachel !

Rachel has been a dream come true for our son Ignacio. Her vast experience and dedication have made a significant difference in my son’s progress. She does not treat every student the same, she goes above and beyond to get them the best possible and customized treatment needed. For example, my son is visually impaired and this requires specific strategies. She has not only did the necessary research but also equipped herself with the skills and tools needed to better support my son. Enthusiastic recommendation! Rachel is an incredible OT and an incredible person! For two years for kindergarten and 1st grade, Rachel was our son’s Freddy OT. We also hired Rachel privately to work with Freddy on his limited diet, as Rachel has experience with the SOS Approach to Feeding. At school and after school, Rachel worked with Freddy with such incredible depth of knowledge and thoughtfulness, compassion, and patience. She worked not just with Freddy but with us as a family - we always felt like a team. Rachel’s smart advice, professionalism, and compassion taught us so much and helped Freddy to grow immensely. She recognized and appreciated Freddy’s gifts but also pushed him to reach new heights. Freddy loves her and so do we all!

At school, Rachel has worked with special needs kids and has been an excellent therapist as she helped them with their physical, developmental, emotional, and cognitive challenges. She listens carefully to parents and gives them advice about their kids, as well as assessing and planning for their future. If you choose her as your occupational therapist, you will be greatly blessed.

I cannot recommend Rachel highly enough for your child's OT needs! Rachel's approach is very thorough, evidence-based, child-centered and extremely effective. Rachel helped my son achieve many goals in a very short amount of time, and my son really enjoys working with her. You will not find a more talented Pediatric OT in NYC than Rachel (and believe me-- we've looked!)

We have known Rachel for 3 years as my son’s OT. Rachel is passionate about her work and is always thorough with her training. She makes her sessions fun for kids and is an excellent motivator. Highly recommend!
